A Great Loss

 The world has lost one of it's best men. Stan "The Man" Hedges passed away on April 13th, 2011 leaving a gaping hole in the hearts of many. He was a loving husband, father and friend. He was a talented musician adored by so many, and he was a pillar of his community whose kindness and compassion knew no bounds.


Stan was larger than life in his humor and personality. He was always the first in line to offer anyone in need a helping hand. Stan and his wife, Sandy, put together and performed many benefits for those who had suffered a great loss of their own.


Stan's sudden death has left his family in a difficult situation and donations to help support his family are sorely needed. He leaves behind his wife Sandy, 3 sons, Dylan, Jeremy and Jordan, 2 daughters-in-law, April and Karen, grandson Skylar, and countless family and friends.


A Celebration of Life will be held May 1st at Centerville United Methodist Church. Visitation with family will start at 1pm and services begin at 3pm.

A benefit will be held at Grinder's Switch Winery on May 22nd where many of Stan's musical family will perform in his honor. Proceeds go to the family.


Stan's album, "Two Mule Parade" is available for purchase at Grinder's Switch Winery or Dye & VanderHorst's Law Office in Centerville, TN. All proceeds from these sales will also go to the Hedges Family.
